A major commercial project delivering 900 metres of robust, all-weather pathways designed for safe, year-round public access.
Our Biggest Commercial Project to Date
This large-scale project involved the construction of approximately 900 metres of all-weather pathway, designed to allow the public to safely access and enjoy this beautiful nature walk all year round, regardless of weather conditions.
The works required extensive health and safety planning and management throughout the project due to public access, long transport distances, and challenging terrain. Over the course of the build, we excavated more than 1,500 tonnes of soil and imported over 1,000 tonnes of base materials, followed by nearly 200 tonnes of final path surface to achieve a durable, long-lasting finish.
The scheme also included the installation of reinforced concrete crossings between gates and geogrid-reinforced crossings within woodland areas, ensuring strength, stability, and minimal environmental impact. Materials were transported up to 900 metres each way, meaning over a mile per round trip, using a 2-tonne dumper, adding significant logistical complexity to the works.
Completed in just 6 weeks, this project now provides a robust, accessible pathway that allows everyone to enjoy the landscape comfortably and safely in all weather conditions.
